Your images don't show the algae but I'm assuming it's BBA? If it's on anubis, this is usually due to lack of flow, some nutrients imbalance and/or too much light. How much flow have you got? Also you might want to switch to something that contains the full package of nutrients like TNC...

Ammonia poisoning usually shows on the gills. This could be a blood infection/septicemia or haemorrhage, not much you can actually do in these cases. Maybe move to quarantine and use API stress coat? hopefully it heals over time.

Too much is always the worst :) cleaning up an algae outbreak is much worse than slightly slower growing plants. You can ramp up the brightness after you are properly cycled and the plants are growing well.

What filter are you running on that? It's likely a flow issue.

Looks good! Consider dosing daily with easy carbo or excel as well, this will help the Monte Carlo especially.

I'm not sure it makes a big difference to be honest. I dose at random times once a day, as long as you stick to the same dosage every day it shouldn't really matter whether you spread it out or do it in one go.

I tried HC dry start but it melted on me. My mistake was using aquasoil in the dry start, the nutrients in the soil melted the HC, don't make the same mistake of using aquasoil.
