hello all . i have an 8ft planted tank i am dosing with ei salts now looking at adding co2. ive used co2 before to good results but on this scale its a head scratcher on wether to put 2 diffusers in or a venturi or a reactor .the system is sumped also but if i dump in sump would i loose much co2...

I remineralise my ro with bee shrimp gh+ bring water to 6 *dh had no problems with it very happy shrimp

I have bga but that was due to wrong nutrients being used apart of that nothing really wrong

I have my co2 to come on 1hr before my tank light but I also get a lot of natural light also do I need to take this into account also regarding co2 coming on or am I over thinking things?

Iv read that u can use mineral oil or even baby oil in ur bubble checker to avoid evaporation is it worth doing or just top up with water ?

I run fluval 206 and gives good flow , only been running since I got ur gear on Saturday will give it more time I guess it's my first setup hence questions ...If I get into problems seen an internal reactor fitted to a filter which will give flow and good dissolved co2 thanx for ur help folks

Hi got these filters and joined both outlets to 1 spray bar (DIY) 16/22 mm pipe 2mm holes inch apart all seems to be fine but just thinking is there a chance I can be damaging the filters should I put a spray bar on each out let instead ?

A1 matt growing hc Cuba and Xmas moss dsm now the Cuba growing well,the substrate is soaked well the Xmas moss is on some bog wood the temp is 25 deg do I need to spray the Xmas on the wood or enough moisture in tank ?

I use a shallow storage container and keep in conservatory for growing my moss works a treat..

I used a sponge sleeping bag mat £1 from b&m job done :)

My adult angels will take the small cardinals but it's not often I loose a few a yr .but wouldn't change it they look so good together..
