Hi David, the only place i could get one was from the green machine but the delivery cost me another £40 on top of the cost [emoji15] as the green machine did not deliver tanks, it was cheaper than me traveling 250+ miles to collect it.
Please bear in mind that this was a few years back now...
For me the tank and cabinet are a perfect fit, unless TMC or ADA have slight variations?
This is an old picture as the setup no longer exists so I cant get you a close up but it gives you an idea :)
@JohnC
I believe you are correct based on the original AML before fish fanatics took over and when AML was AL, I obviously what to confirm this as Delivery and turn around is a big thing for someone that's as inpatient (excited) as me :D
Thanks
Hi All
I'm after a new custom built Aquarium and wanted a Opti-white with a good silicone Job similar to ADA & tmc signatures.
At the moment I am researching but hope to order asap.
Are aml Aquarium manufacturing polished Opti-white Aquariums good? On the website the image seems to look good...
zozo you are correct in saying this about true Amano shrimp but for the false amano? And the Shrimp in question produce shrimplets not larvae like true amano

No the only Shrimp ever added to this tank are the 12 I added in June (the ones in the photos) sold as Amano. But the fact the babies have survived and are shrimplets and not larvae has made me question this.

Nic it is about 30+mm at the moment but if you look at the other pictures in the first post some Shrimp look darker and I think these maybe the parents?
I will know more once they grow a little, then I'll try and get some better pictures.
The only other info I can find about the mini is here...
Edvet A lot..... Your not wrong :) 12 to 50+ in eight weeks.
Iain im not sure about the algae part yet but they are eating waste of some kind and the tank looks clean.
In time ill rescape and move them to my lowtech tank if this is the case.
On the other hand I paid £20 for 50+ Shrimp :D...
Thanks Martin I do think they are two different shrimp.
Here is the Amano? with one of the unidentified babies.
Thanks

Thanks edvet, I was just reading your post http://www.ukaps.org/forum/threads/mini-amano-shrimp.31774/ At the same time you posted the reply.
I'm confused because the successful breeding in freshwater.. and knew they can't be true Amano

Hi all I purchased what was sold as Amano shrimp from a local well known LFS and at the time being very small they looked like Amano Shrimp but they have bred over the last month twice.
I started with 12 but now have over 50!
I believe I may have bought two different species?
Here are some...

Beautiful :)
I agree lion mountain is as beautiful as the picture except it took me all day to reach Sigiriya at the top, but worth every minute
Thanks. As long as you get the parameters correct and cycle for 6+ weeks then they are fine. Salty shrimp sulawesi 7.5 does the hard work after that 10% water change weekly and general cleaning like we do in all tanks. I started with 3 of each 6 months ago now have about 10 of each pkus 3 more...
I've been on the forums for a while now so i should really introduce myself :)
sorry for the delayed introduction.
I have a few tanks all low tech atm.. im planing a high tech. (probably a tmc signature 90)

Firstly I wanted to say hello to all at ukaps  I have been browsing for while now learning from this great site.
I'm interested in the dennerle 30l nano and was wondering if its worth getting the complete set?
I'm after a small all in one setup without the extra external filters, the...
