Is a danger, but I have done it before an it work, as long as you don't put a huge amount of pressure on it
Another option is to use the clear PVC I have but it isn't as clear as the acrylic.
I am using acrylic but using a high strength PVC glue that's used for high pressure farm irrigation pipes.
Also the connection surface is quite big. The pipe fits about 50mm into the grey fitting and quite tight.
Have most of the parts already. Last thing to sort out is how to get the CO2 inside. Don't like the idea of just pulling the aquarium tubing through a smaller hole.
You don't have a pic of how you got the CO2 line inside. Got some of these on the way Stainless Steel Fish Tank Air Flow Control...

Few quick questions.
1. Which fitting did you use to get the CO2 inside or did you just do the hole with air tubing pulled through.
2. Which clips you using to hold the reactor to the side.
3. Are the diffuser needed. Have an extra lying around to experiment with.
