Thank you! The plants at the back are juncus repens, cyperus helferi, cryptocoryne balansae and the nymphaea pygmaea.
The lightscreen is from the lightground.
Hello everyone! its been a while since i posted here. I kinda missed forums.
This scape was born in a period that i wanted something really easy, natural to have at my livingroom.
is running for about six months and i think it ended up into something special.
Hey! Thanks for the interest! Its been a while since last update. it had some downs, i neglected it due to some personal reasons had no time nor mood to keep it up. But i did not take it down, is still running strong. For the last two months im putting a lot of work on it and preparing for...
scape is growing slowly day by day. It changes a lot as the background myriophyllum sp guyana grows!
Ive got the new Twinstar 450s 3series and im going to install it these days.
As my friend Thierry said , they are they are very slow feeders. They might try to eat some newborn fry, but i dont think other than that can fit in their tiny mouths.
I feed grindal both for darios and for pugmys.
Almost 2 weeks later..
Things are going well, ive fixed the path . Its very difficult to reach in there .
Added 12 pugmy corys, a couple of dario dario and some blue velvet shrimp!
Thanks guys! I like dramatic scapes and i cannot lie!
Planted with aquaflora plants! im gonna add fissidens too one of these days.
Also waiting for la plata sand for the path and im going to extend the short trunk!

Hi guys! Long time no see! Returning to my all time favourite forum!
The tank is a 45p
Took my time with the hardscape, been working on the harscape for about 3 weeks.
I took some pictures in the process and made a small video.
Looking forward to all your comments and ideas.
I will post later...

Feel free to tell me your opinion on this one!
This was my inspiration for this scape.
The famous painting
"The Great Wave off Kanagawa'.
This scape has reached to its end.! some will say too soon.
These are the last photos of it! Thanks everyone for the help and company!
Im very excited about the next one!
Onf flat nano shows great colouring! very vivid! The light on the banana is from an rgb led light that i have left from the tank on some flower pots!
haha den exw mystiko kardia mou! No secrets here! Just good light/substrate/ferts and a couple w/c per week!
wow! Thanks for the comments guys!
This scape is kind of an experiment. too bold hardscape/ too much plants for the size of the tank. Plus the wood under the rocks. i wasnt sure if people would like it.
Mine were collected from nature here in Greece where i live, but i see them in different...
Thanks guys! I appreciate your comments!
Till now i only had cheap chinese tools from ebay. These from Tropica are way better quality. Also really enjoying the spring scissors, especially in the nano tank.
Thanks @CooKieS ! i have in mind about adding some details on the sand.
About the light although its more powerfull than it looks , it is small for the size of the tank. but for that scape and plants seems ok.
The scape itself creates some shaded areas cause of the big rock at the front
The stones are aprox. 10kg. This piece of wood I own it for years and used it in other scapes too. All above stones, ada tank and other equipment I got them from AquariumHouse.gr
hey guys,
So.. ive moved house, taken down all scapes and now starting fresh!
Got these days a 45p. im starting from a small one.
So far i practise hardscape in the tanks cardboard..i think next week i will scape the tank and maybe fill it up.
i switched back to t5s for the moment and im using them along with the chihiros for some hours. the chihiros is very strong but gives a very white colour to the plants that i dont like. So i am using a 2x28w t5 for 6 hours and the chihiros which is 45w for 3 hours out of the 6 of the photoperiod...
thanks once again my friend. I appreciate that.
i know i didnd had the perfect scape, nor the perfect photo. but i expected at least a 3 digit ranking! Next year!
Thanks CooKieS! I see your point and I agree. It could have been more natural. Although I send it at the end, it wasnt made for a competition. It meant to be my free expression scape. I wanted on purpose to look a bit both natural and not!
I get dry salts from the nutrient company and make stock solutions based on their EI calculator. Based on that sollution I dose lean. About half micros.
Thank you!
At this point i dont do much.
the weekly 60% water changes, i dose a solution of diy dry ferts based on the Estimative index.
I left it a little neglected on purpose!
The bucephalandras are doing really well, blooming and growing fast. im replanting some on the ground too.
thanks! i use a Vellum Paper! ;) and on the wall behind the aquarium a white thick paper.
Cookies thanks! the first pic is from the photoshooting for iaplc. Not sure if i can post the final photo.
