Yeah I treat this with melafix and pimafix also bought some sera baktopur. Initially this was just a wound but now looks like some bacterial infection as of you looks closely there is some white spots on top fin as well.

Mine failed after 6 months ...after recent problems with eheim filter i will be avoiding this brand for sure. Bought some tetratec pump i hope it will be as good as their filter which runs without any problems for past 4 years and was 3 times cheaper than eheim.

Hi Some pictures of my new angels ...

3 stage HMA filter is already on order no matter which fish I get discus or angels I will use filtered water for both...

I do not want to use RO due to water waste from this filter... And discus are much weaker when they are rised and breed in RO water ... I may invest in automatic feeder ...

For now I have cousin stopping with me for another few weeks so if I get them "soon" there should be no problem but adult fish are out of question for me ...

Talking about frequent feedeng how frequent do You mean ? I am away for 10 hours a day so no chance to feed fish in this time ...

Glutaraldehyde was used as cleaner for medical tools some time ago, sure it can't be poison so just use common sense when You dilute it

Hi my tank holds around 230l of water and I use eheim 2078 and tetratec 1200 on top of that I have koralia 2400 so flow should be not a problem I just want to use most efficient media possible

I never use any media from eheim as filter was delivered without them I have some sera media in it around 2l but i need more
