    65L iwagumi , new lay-out

Thank you for your comments :D Samc , it is very exciting in fact , going in the mountain looking for good spots , the hard part is to bring back stones from where you find them to your car , as often you go deeper and deeper in the mountain and have to come back with heavy loads , a bit...

    65L iwagumi , new lay-out

thank you for your comments , i'm glad you like it :D there is going to be some work to do with moss in the long term , in the end i'd like to be able to keep the moss quite low in the front not to cover the stones a bit higher in the back of the foreground  ) and be able to let some...

Neelhound , i am still wondering about what to do with the red stem plants in this tank , i dont know if they will stay or not , as the tank is turning nearly low tech (18W/65L , co2 1bp3s , ferts at water changes only ...) the red plants have some hard time to take a nice coloration , if they...

    Saintly's 120cm 'hill's of desire'

Re: Saintly's 120cm private scape it seems that Amano does huge slopes for iwagumi but for his "nature aquarium" style (wood only type) slopes are way more moderate , even more for the ones using sand where sometimes they seem nearly flat
  17. N

    65L Skeleton coast

Saintly , if you have enough wood to make something with a good balance , it might definitly work , but that also might mean to rethink the rock part to integrate the wood , if you can do it without changing the central part which is great the way it is, that would do it  tropic_john ...
  18. N

    65L Skeleton coast

some updates of this tank , it is running kind of low-tech , 18W (0,3W/Liter) , co2 1b/3sec , nearly no ferts . i still have to put some moss on the foreground behind the stones on the sand , had no time to take care of this yet
