Hi my rasboras are spawning, i have read that i should take the eggs out but i dont have any other tank, is it possible any of these will survive or will they just be eaten. Also i dont know how many male/females i have, how do i stop this happening and how often will it happen? Does it affect anything in the tank if eggs are noot removed?

Thanks.

If you leave the eggs they'll be eaten and it won't affect the tank really at all. Enjoy seeing the spectacle and don't worry about it.

If you want to rear the eggs then you will need another tank and infusoria to feed them as they're too small for artemia and microworm when they first start free-swimming.

Thanks Ed, how long do they do this for?

What? Spawn? Not sure but I imagine they'll spawn whenever the females are in condition. Males usually aren't too fussy! ;)
