@palcente what a good assistant you have 🙂

not my cat, but here's my partners; fluffy mike. He is a bedraggled, elderly man, named after rapper Killer Mike & "sergeant fluffy" (the younger brother's suggestion).

Just realised @dw1305 never posted a photo of our cat (you may know her as the bad-tempered light diffuser), Minnie.

She is a little elderly lady now, but she's still pretty lively. Whenever I go home she burrows under the covers with me (cute, but god forbid you move). She is a rescue, and is very small - about teenage kitten sized. We adopted her with the name Minnie, but also refer to her as:
Miniscule
Mincemeat
Catchild
Dog
Mincemeat en frith

Chucked in some videos for comedic effect:
Minnie's daily life
Minnie's guide to love & kindness

Forgot all about this thread. I’ve admired all the pets on here for years, and never been able to contribute . . . until now . . .

Our new Sprollie (Springer/Collie cross) we’ve called “Drift” - this is the week before we collected him at 8 weeks old:

and now two months later, at 16 weeks old:

Thought I'd show off my non aquatic pets too... The first two are Norwegian Forest Cats (both boys, one aged 2, other aged 10), the third is a Kurilian Bobtail and a venerable 11-year-old madam!

Wegies are so beautiful. I have two fluffballs myself with one shorthair. Wriggle, Mistress of the Dark Shadows Clan looks rather like a Siberian forest cat but she’s sure not a purebred anything. She weighs about 12-13 pounds so she’s got size going for her. She’s chocolate, not black.

Her older brother is more like Maine Coon size - a good 15|16pounds of ginger fluff with huge paws and a big head to go with the fur. He is the haus lion - Admiral Omra Droolius McGrumblybritches.

The shorthair is the Deadly Spotted Squirm. A loose cannon ball disguised as a cat. He’s the one most likely to break or knock over anything but he’s quite affectionate.

Oh they are gorgeous, with excellent names!

@YCChen Norwegian Forest cats, that's interesting, there is one then in my neighbourhood. Guessing they are fearless . My Border Collie, completely ignores it no matter how close ,the cat stares motionless at him

I'd say NFCs are curious by breed temperament but the fearlessness depends on the individual cat! The older one will stand his ground with my friend's full grown male German Shepherd, who to be fair is very well behaved and knows to give the cats space; the younger one freezes at the mere sight of him 😂 if anything the Kurilian Bobtail is the one most likely to fight anybody non-human (mainly for a human lap to sit on)...
