Hello

Im moving soon and wanted to get a new bigger aquascaping tank. I have been looking at an Blau aquascaping 92x50x50.

Im having a hard time finding reviews about the brand and their tanks. Anyone on here who know about the quality?

Thanks in advance.

I think all ponds solutions do good rimless tanks and superfish are also good budget tanks , if you dont mind spending a little then go for Oase UNS or ADA

I live in Aarhus in Denmark and the only options that are readily available are Oase, Juwel, small superfish and Blau. Im also a student so Oase Scaperline is not my go to and juwel dont offer rimless.

I live in Aalborg, Denmark and yes the choices are limited. Check out amazoonia.dk
as they have some options. If you are unable to find your size here then your best bet would be buying from stores in EU like greenaqua, etc.

Yeah, think im just gonna go with the Blau set and see how it goes. The greenaqua opti glass tank in the desired dimensions cost more than the blau tank and cabinet.

I have a Blau 60 x 45 x 20, I love it. I'm looking at getting a smaller one next year too.

I know MJ on YouTube uses them, but most are out of stock on Amazon. Been keeping my eye on them too

I've had this three years now. Very happy with it. About time I posted a new pic Planting has simplified .. crypts, plus crypts, plus more crypts. Slate back plate has grown a layer of moss, which looks not bad, and every now and again I rip most of it off. At some point I might try to adjust it, the central slate 'island', incorporating vertical plate, currently sits about 3" away from the back of the tank, with the space used for filter in and out, plus heater. It works but, perhaps because it gets natural light, the tetras love it back there and I don't see them as much as I'd like.

Anyway, for the purposes of the Blau review .. the tank is excellent, extremely neatly made, sturdy. If the 122 shallow were available in the UK (with delivery) I'd have one in a flash. Can't see that happening though.

I have the Blau Aquaristic 17 Shallow. I find the glass optical purity to be inferior to both Begondis and All Pond Solutions aquariums, and almost identical to Amtra Nanoscaping "extra clear glass". Glass thickness is correct. There isn't a lot of silicone ergo almost no bead outside the joint. The corners have been refinished/sanded in places, but the construction is fairly straight. Scratches, cracks and defects are absent. The Logo has been lazer etched onto one side of the aquarium, whereas Amtra have removable stickers and Begondis forgo them. Packaging is completely inferior compared to Begondis or Amtra aquariums because Blau do not include foam corner pads. Instead they simply come in a cardboard box which Amazon will bung inside a far bigger box and it will move around during shipping. I have considered buying more but I would not use them in a designed living space. Hope that helps.
