After experiencing plants melt in a newly planted aquarium. I realized it's the plants coming straight out of tissue culture that tend melt in more than 90% cases. Image 1 was my newly planted tank 8 days ago. Now look at it now in picture 2. Those melted plants came from tissue culture. Rotala red mint, was propagated from another tank and Aroids came from the pot so they are healthy.

Cryot parve only comes in tissue culture, I have to buy new ones to full the void. Can someone share my tips on Tissue Culture?

The problem didn't lie with all purchased plants. I purchased many stem plants in pots these plants do not melt and start growing immediately

There's another way with tissue culture planting them later when the substrate has stopped leaching ammonia.
3. In Vitro/Tissue Culture Plants: In Vitro or tissue culture cups or pots can be washed to remove the growing media. After cleaning, leave them on the surface of the water for several weeks to help increase leaf and root mass before planting.

Ideally you would have used more these fast growing stem plants at start up and slowly replaced them with your Crypts and TC plants over time. There are not many rosette or TC plants that enjoy being planted in fresh AS.
You ought to consider starting a journal so all of your Q&As are in one place along with your tank info making it easier for others to offer more relevant advice.
Cheers!

Looking into this wonderful article I was thinking that next time when I buy TC, I plant it in plastic net cups and put those cups an my old tank thats cycled and settled. What is your opinion?

OK once I get my next paycheck I will buy Crypt Parve and dwarf hair grass. Unfortunately these carpet plants are only available in TC. I cannot find it in net cups.

So if I summarize this I have to clean all the gel from those TCs leave those grasses on water until their roots develop and then plant it?

Sorry if I am still posting too many questions, I haven't figure out a way to use journal in this forum

Yes, that's the procedure.... some plants take longer than others to acclimatize to underwater conditions.
I found leaving them on the surface or just under the surface until new roots grow increases the success rate when planting into the substrate.

I've used this method with the difficult Tissue Culture plants Cryptocoryne Nurii and Flamingo with success.
Cheers

It's easy, just go here and click on the 'Thread title' box and it will appear Journals.
What is your tank looking like at the moment, what is your water change program, what is your fertz dosing regime and have you got any new growth, this is what you want, it's difficult to tell from the photo? Some of your plants may well still survive

If it is advice you want I personally wouldn't bother doing this for another month or so at least, instead get a couple of bunches of fast growing stems, you can throw them away later (sensibly) if not needed, Limnophila Sessiliflora and Hygrophila Siamensis 53B are good but there are plenty of others, either potted or the one's in the sandwich boxes.

Yes, Feedback - Recent order although I would have put them fractionally deeper and give them a fine misting as often as possible, but not yet.
