Just wanted to show my first tank running for a year and a half with a "rescape" a year ago as a way to express my gratitude toward the forum members for having teach me how to grow aquarium plants !
This tank has been through a lot of change and issue in the past : cyano, green algae, staghorn a bit, ammonia spikes from a misuse of root tabs, plants dying from nutrient deficiency etc.
See this thread : Lowtech tank unknown issue with easy plant
But I've resolved them slowly with the help of all the information on this forum.
It is in no way "scaped" but more of a playing ground for me to learn.
Right now it's stocked with 4-5 Amano, a male Apistogramma Borelli, around 40 two weeks old fry and snails.
The female died from the male a few days ago.
26W white led
Small internal filter 400L/
DIY CO2 yeast jello method
0dKH / 4dgH
I mineralize RO with dry salt at a ratio 3/1 : Ça/Mg.
25L WC each week
Temperature : 26 °C
Fertiliser per week using DIY salt solution :
3 ppm NO3 / 0,3 ppm PO4 / 2ppm K / 0,16 ppm Fe + Micro.
I use Easy life Profito to dose Fe + Micro
Excuse the low quality pictures and thanks again to all the really helpful and knowledgeable people in this community.
