I got a variegated plant thinking it was aquatic but turned out to be a cordyline specifically cordyline fruticosa "firebrand"

And another variegated grass most probably this.

Will take pics and upload later ugh.I also saw variegated acorus grass, dracaena variegated, hemigraphis colorata, hemigraphis rapanda, croton, synognium , Selaginella wildenowii and a variegated plant that had red, green and yellow and somewhat grassy like. Should have taken pictures of them.

On a side note:Are there even any variegated aquatic plants?

Saved from certain death in the aquarium.Put rooting powder on all of them as well because they had no roots.

Hi all, I expect that is fairly standard.

I know it is pretty warm and sticky in Singapore, but they might still be better with a <"pop-bottle propagator"> over them for a week or so, until the stems have callused.

cheers Darrel
They probably are fresh stem cuttings with no roots.Yep hehe i just poke them into soil for my terrestrial plants and so far they are ok as long as put in 50% shade until roots develop.Rooting powder greatly increases success rate and some powders are better than others.
