Oase FiltoSmart Thermo 100

Hi All,

Purchased a Oase Filtosmart Thermo 100 yesterday. Need some advice on cleaning the filter at a later stage. I notice from the manual that you unlock the inlet/outlet, then heater and remove the head unit. My question is does the water from the tank continue to drain once the head unit is removed or is there some type of shut off mechanism that prevents this.

I have Oase Filtosmart Thermo 100 filter running at the moment.
Yes it would!
You would need to purchase a set of shut off valves to attach to the in and out hoses.
This is one of the minus points of this filter....!
