now i dont have a sencond tank but who knows later down the line i might however the first does not state if it will connect to a fire ext where the more expensive one does, also there is quite a difference in price so wondering why the added extra apart from being able to controll mutiple tanks from one reg. is it better constructed more reliable? cant seem to get any more info on the two products even though i have sent emails without any reply.

Hi,

I run both co2 art regs (bought from AG).

Pro se is good. Psi upto c.35 max. Chinese made

Pro elite is more substantial, German made, can go upto 60psi. I used to use an optional bolt on manifold to run 2 X inline no probs.

Both needle valves feel the same which is a shame as I would like a less sensitive adjustment on the elite one.

In short no right, no wrong. Personally I’d be inclined to go for the SE. If you get a second tank in the future add another one for near enough the same money and you won’t have co2 line trailing from tank to tank.

A big tank with 2 x inline, the Elite one is excellent.

Depends how flush you feel at the offset....

Hope my experience of them help, both brilliant regs :)

Ps. Where are you sending the emails? I have been in AG for 2 weeks now covering Dave whilst he is on honeymoon. I haven’t received an email regarding your question. I have been answering emails all day.

You need to fill in the web page email or customerservices@aquariumgardens,co.uk
(not the ‘info@‘ one as that is daves personal business one now)

Or better still call if you can, far easier to chat :)

Hope email addresses make sense.

I assumed the shop was closed when I saw the notice on the website, i've been wanting to pop in for some plants but haven't

all sorted, spoke to steve on the phone today, must have been a glitch in your system as i also could not place an order online, kept getting a grey box popping up telling me the reg was out of stock but Steve seems to think this has been added (the grey box thing) and he is going to look into it.

All done!

Gathered your order while at we were on the phone. All ready for Dave to dispatch on monday.

You can still order out of stock things, The grey box warns you it is out of stock and asks ‘do you still want to order it press ok to continue’.
So all cool. If something is out of stock we often have a couple left or will have it in very soon.

The only real delay is on some of the specialist wood pieces that we source from various places. Best to give a us a call for expected dates on those if it says out of stock. Still usually quite short waiting times though.

People normally call for those anyway as we email pictures of the individual pieces.
