Looking for advise

My Christmas moss is peeling away from my lava rock as it’s not a moss that self attaches (was tied by cotton) although the cotton is fine it’s just coming away from it.

This is a shrimp only tank (well apart from snails)

My options are
Re attach the Christmas moss
Attach java moss instead
Attach süsswasertang
Attach mini bucephalandra around the top

Xmas moss should attach easily, simply super glue it to the larva rock and keep cutting it back when it grows upwards. Glue small little pieces, say 10mm or shorter, all over the place for a quick head start. Co2 obviously encourages better compacted moss growth which you can shape with scissors.

Why is an african teaching a Scotsman about moss, this might be a first :)
