I'm in the process of setting up a small rack for my shrimps. There will be 6 24*12*15 tanks set up end on. I plan to make a light which will stretch sideway across and about 6 inches above the 6 tanks.
I've seen lights made on youtube using guttering and LED ribbons.
What type of ribbon(s) would be best and would I need more than one row. I'm not looking for something mega bright, just something that will light up my tanks well and allow me to grow plants, most of which I imagine will be low tech.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
