Problem
I noticed my 2 shrimps had sadly died couple days ago. Tonight I came in to find a planaria worm on the glass.
It was obvious on the glass but when it moved onto a leaf it pretty much disappeared.
Couldnt of come at a worse time because I seen to also be experiencing an increase in Algae.
My conclusion
I've made the assumption that I am overfeeding. I'm going to starve the fish today. and cut food down moving forward.
Questions
I have oak and beech leaves in there too. Not sure if I should remove these?
Its a walstad aquarium, I want to avoid using chemicals incase it kills the bacteria. If I use chemicals will this just result in further problems.
Can I overdose with glut (haven't used it since going walstad) I have some lying around.
Any advice/exprience you want to share will be greatly appreciated.
