Hi Gill Thank You Its a chemical retort My mate got some chemistry bits from a car boot sale I paid £30 for lots of stuff including the retort its worth £ 30 on its own

I think new there £ 35 £45 You could look on Ebay ?? I was just lucky sorry I cannot be of more help.
