Really nice design. Intersection between Dutch, Iwagumi and nature!

Would you consider some shrimp to graze on the foreground?

Thanks everyone :).
Just need to practice my trimming technique ;).

Nelson, you checked tds levels? My tap water tds drops badly in Autumn, checked it again and it's down to sub 80 again was just chance I checked it else I'd have had the same issues as 3 yrs ago when I lost 400+ in 5 months.

Could be high levels of copper of you ate using the EI dosage

Some setups don't support shrimp. My suspicion I that some thing is being leeched from hard scape etc. sorry to hear of your losses. You can use the opportunity to keep apistos or rams etc which can often clash with shrimp.

shame - looked so great before

OK ...... over the shock now ....... (yup less than 20sec)

I think I may like it even BETTER now :D

You might consider investing in one of those mini zen (sand) garden rakes so you can style the gravel at every water change ;)

Not quite sure why,but the Ludwigia Palustris has been melting.Saved what I could and put some Rotala sp Green to the left of it,in front of the Rotala sp Yao Yai.
I did do a filter and hose/pipe clean last weekend. Also got a little bit of BGA.

Looks like a toxicity of some sort... Did you squirt glut and peroxide around that region?

I really like this.
Very original and a good balance between plants and rocks.
I do have Blue stone and i have to say yours look way cooler than mine, the batch i got is not that easy to wok with.
The use of different sized gravel puts a finishing touch and adds detail.
Plants look good too.
