What tank & cabinet?

Hi All,

I've decided to downsize my 180L tank to something smaller however I have some specific requirements and I'm not sure where to begin looking. So heres the list:

- Ideally looking at something around the 120L mark (TMC signature size)
- Must be closed top to prevent cats getting in there!
- I have about £300 for the tank, stand and light.
- CO2 will be going in there but I'm only after a lower light, low tech tank
- Must come with a stand which is like the ADA grey glossy type cabs.

So, any ideas??

Not quite your budget but I'd start with the 80cm tank kit mentioned in this thread - it will give you an outstanding tank & cabinet, a glass top can be made/added quite cheaply (not sure what it comes with).

To get tank, stand (ADA style nonetheless.....) and light, £300 is pretty tight.

Best bet is going to be a compromise... eg:

DIY your ADA stand (plenty of tutorials on here)
Get light/tank 2nd hand- massive savings to be had
spend slightly more and get what alto linked!
get a smaller tank

Thanks Guys. Budget is not fixed at £300 but around that. If it goes up by £100 then no problem, I just don't want to spend loads more.
