Hi folks,
Thanks to help and info from here I've successfully managed to establish a Heminathus carpet in my nano tank.
The "clumps" have merged into one and it's grown to a depth of about 2cm.
It's very dense (feels "springy" if you push down on it with fingers).
I want to cut it back :
A) to level it
B) to provide some stems to fill in a few gaps

How close can I crop it back towards the substrate please?
Ideally I'd like to cut it back to about 1cm above substrate, is that too harsh?

HC can be cropped as closely as you want. A pair of curved scissors makes the job easier. It will look tatty for a while but grows back in.

Cheers,

Oh errr...
I've not dared post any pictures of my nano! I don't think it's "up to standard" - it's what I've been using to learn about plants/water/CO2 and generally pester CEG with silly questions everyday! :)
