Just received my dropchecker in the post today. 6quid delivered from thailand. Pretty unimpressive thing really.
After setting it up I had to feed the baby which gave me the idea for a DIY drop checker.
You will need:
Silicone adhesive (aquarium safe)
Suction cup holder for attaching the drop checker to the aquarium glass
Baby bottle teat, screw on cap, lid
You can get cheap ones such as http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-Brand-New-Seale ... 500wt_1154
-Silicone the teat to the screw-on cap
-Cut the tip of the teat off
-Silicone the cover to the end cap
Attach a suction cup for placing in the aquarium and you are done.
Hope it's of use to some people on a tight budget.
