Dosing levels, what to use and when to start?

I'm almost at the stage where I'm going to fill my 250l tank with water an plants.


I intend to plant heavy from the start with injected co2. Substate is akadama.

I want to use the EI method for ease and cheapness.

What and how much should I be dosing? I want to dose everyday because if I don't I'll probably forget.

Should I be dosing from the very start?

I've seen easycarbo reccommended along with brighly K?

I know I'm asking to be spoonfed but I don't want to make any screwups

250 ltr tank is 65.78 US gallons so your ferts regime according to E.I is

Fertz for a 70 US gallon tank for a for 4 week period

KN03 = 7 tps
KH2PO4 = 3.5 tps
MGS04 = 21 tps
All mixed in 600 mls of warmtap water, add 50mls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

CSM-B 1.75 tps mixed withh 200 mls of tap water add 25mls on Tuesday and Thursday

or any combination of days that suits you.

All dry fertz can be purchased from two of our sponser - Aqua Essential & Fluidsensor online.

Start adding fertz on the same day as you are planting.

so for my 750 ltr

KN03 = 21 tps
KH2PO4 = 10.5 tps
MGS04 = 63 tps
All mixed in 1800 mls of warmtap water, add 150 mls at a time. ( larger water quantities are better for my dosing pumps)
