That light unit can't be suspended, it sits on the rim of the tank. As your tank is 4ft, it'll be too small.

This is the light unit that I have, and it comes...
Hi George, if that's Microsorium Pteropus (Java Fern) you've got on the right of the pic, it needs to be attached to wood or rock. In the substrate like you have it it will just rot and die.

Hhhmmm you could be right, sorry about that. When I bought a set just over a year ago eBay was flooded with them, I assumed you'd be able to get them still. I can get you the dims of mine if you'd like so that you could make your own.

The FX6 works perfectly with a Tetratec EX2400 spray bar. Can be bought for around £17 delivered from eBay. That's what I'm using with my FX6 in my 5ft tank.
The flow is amazing and that is pushing the water the full 5ft length of the tank, and not the 2ft front to back.

Looks a lot better than it did, if I were you I would raise the Koralia up so it's closer to the surface as it looks as though there is an oily film?
Raise the Koralia so that it is only just below the surface of the water, and it will help to prevent that.

I've often wondered this myself, I've been toying with the idea of removing all the excess on an old Juwel 54l tank just to make it look a little neater but I've never had the balls to try it.
I'll keep an eye on how yours survives Troi and dependant on how wet your floor gets I may give it a...
Sad news, I've no doubt they'll spawn again and get it right this time.
My pair of Kribs spawned at the end of January and raised the fry successfully and I have 11 babies at around 20~30mm. They spawned again around 8 weeks later and the cloud of fry lasted around 3 days before mum and dad...
That 106 you are using is underpowered. As a guide I'm using a 305 on a 60 x 30 x 30 54l tank.
I know you are using a Koralia alongside the filter, but a bigger filter would certainly be a good place to start.
