    Aliens

Whether there are still questions to be answered with the regard to fossil record of human development, to posit an extra-terrestrial heritage flies in the face of the wealth of evidence, be it archeological or genetic that tie us into the complex interconnected development of life on this...

Humour me, are these amano shrimp?

I got into a very time consuming email exchange over this. Similarly I received low grade neocaridina instead of Amanos. Have you yet had the stock email about it just being a 'stress' response and how 'soon you'll be enjoying the beauty of your shrimp', I got two of those patronising identical...

    Black leaf edges - cause?

Also having the powerhead turn off before the end of the photoperiod is probably not a good idea, as consistency across the photoperiod is best

    Black leaf edges - cause?

I can definitely see the merits of waiting to see if the present flow works, as you never know what's working with constant changes, but my point is that the 'sort of' circular flow you describe may not have the desired effect. In particular that pump is powerful and will move a lot of water...

    Black leaf edges - cause?

I know this has already been alluded to, but I suspect inadequate flow is the main problem. Whilst the 10x rule is only guide, the filter the OP is using over 2x under this. Poor flow can create problems with the distribution of co2, but also distribution of other nutrients, so this problem...

    High Quality CO2 Reactor?

what about this https://www.us-aquaristikshop.com/co2-reaktoren/co2-aussenreaktor-ar-us50-16mm-mit-blasenzaehler.html I have one. It's not cheap and I had to pack in a bit more filter sponge to get it working properly. I can't fault the sturdiness though. I'm happy with it and no bubbles...

    Is it potassium deficiency? Thanks

I suspect a co2 deficiency. Melting and leaves falling of is a sure fire indication of too much light for the availability of co2. You don't say what level you have your light set. The're pretty strong lights and with liquid co2 you would want the set pretty low. I have the same lights and can...

    Mont Gumi

Before you start fertilising it is probably worth noting that your tank it is 80l not 120l. I hope that's useful.

The Epson Panoramic Photography Awards 2017

I'm just hoping that the picturesque mist in the final shot is not blown in from burning Rohingya villages.

    Determination

No I went for the cheaper 'A series'. Which I gather has roughly the same output. Although whilst adequate, with the tank being shallow the better coverage of the 'A series plus' may have made it a better option. I hope this helps

    Determination

I feel your pain. I've got the same tank and filter and for about two years I had similar results. i similarly ended up with no critters and throwing loads of co2 at the problem, but the insipid creep of browning leaves, general diminishing plant health and the accompanied rise of bba algae...
