    Trumpet snails

My biggest MT snails are about an inch long but I don't know if they have finished growing yet! Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    Aquarium Silicon Mat

I use that plastic egg crate diffuser, I am not sure that this would spread the load very much at all so I would be worried about point loading 6mm glass like that. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Neocaridina Blue Dream - Feeding schedule help

I am probably going to get shot down in flames for this but I don't worry too much about feeding. I have two colonies of red neos and one of PRL Caridina and, when the tanks were quite new ( Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    caridina shrimp

No, sorry. I installed a small RO system when I started keeping caridina and it was neither expensive nor difficult to install. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Is a shrimp only tank easier to maintain?

Other people will have other opinions, that's just what I do, but I can't see the harm if you regularly monitor parameters. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Is a shrimp only tank easier to maintain?

I don't. After the tanks are properly established I just top up with RO water as and when. Obviously I still monitor parameters but they stay very stable, Shrimp produce very little waste. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Is a shrimp only tank easier to maintain?

Absolutely. I have three tanks and maintenance is really only tidying up the plants and keeping on top of the water. Between the shrimps and a few nerites I have barely any algae so there is very little to do. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

Amano Shrimp Berried - Can the young survive?

As I understand it, yes. I am not sure if the eggs will even hatch in fresh water. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

I really like the look of this. Personally I would stick to rock and plants for something like this but that's just me. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    Exciting developments: California Blackworm culture

I must admit that I don't fully understand the implications or ramifications of this but it certainly sounds exciting. Well done Simon! Could you please explain this to me like I am a small child? Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk

    attaching Buces and Anubias

I use dark brown linen thread. It is very strong and the muted colour blends in really well with lots of colours of wood and stone, then it rots away after several months. Sent from my [null] using Tapatalk
