Have been looking for cheaper solutions for nitrate instead of kno3 to reduce my k levels and found these on my searches mag nitrate mag nitrate Calcium nitrate Calcium nitrate Would like some advice on there suitability and if they are suitable how to work levels.

Notice they do calcium nitrate and also recently magnesium nitrate are these the proper stuff or fertilizer blends?

I put my co2 into the return pump and have no trouble getting enough co2 into the tank to drop it more than 1 ph, i just put a cigarette filter into end of co2 tube to break up the bubbles and it works perfectly.

No i dont think i will buy one as the placement is not what i want but i like the idea of a gyre over a wavemaker.

End of tank is my view from my sitting position..so thats a no no..... how about placing it underneath the overflow pointing upwards towards the middle.... that should leave the overflow input area quite calm or am i just trying to talk myself into buying one :angelic:

Will the lower co2 (15ppm)not result in bba or is it more to do with inconsistant co2

Did you reduce your Fx5 hose size to get your atomizer on there? Are you losing any flow?
