How big is your tank? If it's 250 litres+ how about an automated (scheduled) water changer?

Forgot to mention: Lights are: 3 hours back 2 bulbs 3 hours front 2 bulbs The only algae I can see is the green spots on the glass which needs manually removing every 2 to 3 weeks (not too bad).
