Sounds great! Oh and I'm not in any hurry. Just want things working as smoothly as possible. Will definitely do that then ;) Thanks so much! Will update as soon as I have any news!

    Foul smell and yellow water

Regarding floating plants I have access to these 2, which one do you recommend? Phyllanthus fluitans LIMNOBIUM LAEVIGATUM Also, how much water do you guys recommend me to change then? And how often? I was thinking of the usual 50% once a week, but will do whatever is needed ofc! :) Thank you for...

    Foul smell and yellow water

I'm sorry, I do realize that the way I explained it is indeed confusing, I'm gonna try to explain as best I can, since I didn't actually keep a super strict record of times/days, etc. I know the tank had ammonia for about 2 weeks after I started the dark start. Then slowly ammonia started to...

    Foul smell and yellow water

No, it is actually more of a sulphur smell. Wish it was the earthy smell, that would be a lot better news since I actually like that smell... I already did several WC's, mostly 50% but also some other bigger ones, 70% and even 90%. And still after 1 or 2 days the water is yellow again. Sorry...

    Foul smell and yellow water

Hi there, so I've been having a very strange problem with my new tank. I recently started a new setup where I used about 12L of brand new Amazonia substrate (the original, not the V2) and for hardscape I used Seiryu stone, previously washed before placing in the tank. I did a dark start...

Oase Biomaster 350 Thermo - Flow too strong?

Yes, that was were I was planning to add it. The outflow ;) I'm leaving as is for the time being and will make use of the tap if it turns out to be too much, especially once I add fish to the tank. Thanks again!

Oase Biomaster 350 Thermo - Flow too strong?

Hi, yeah it is brand new and I do believe it will lose some flow in the long run, but still seems a bit strong to me. But I actually thought the same thing you're saying when I got it, better to have too much and reduce it than not having enough. ;) Thanks for your nice words, I hope I can have...

Oase Biomaster 350 Thermo - Flow too strong?

Guess I'll just leave it then. Several people say that the flow is good as it is, so who am I to doubt you all? :) Thanks for the help!

Oase Biomaster 350 Thermo - Flow too strong?

Well, in that case I guess I'm gonna leave it as is. Guess I'm overconcerned for nothing really... I was just worried that the flow being too strong could be hurting the plants instead of being a good thing. Yeah I think he is super cute and just couldn't remove the poor thing from there. He...

Oase Biomaster 350 Thermo - Flow too strong?

Oh that is very kind of you, but I am actually in Portugal. I do realize that it takes time to notice any difference, but it does affect you when you put so much money and heart into something, only to have it fail... 🥲 The only good thing I have going is that I have no fish yet, and that makes...

Oase Biomaster 350 Thermo - Flow too strong?

Indeed frustrated I am... :( I did lower the light and increased the co2 but most of the plants were too far gone I'm afraid... Starting to lose hope with this tank to be honest.
