That is very similar how I wanted mine to be laid out :o I wanted to put the mopani or marsh root on top of a mound and then build the slate caves into the mound. Then where they have go there substrate I could put my carpet :) I do really like this though for an idea:

It might be for fry or quarantine, but I also had though of it being a shrimp tank, or a dwarf pufferfish tank. Or anything else that's interesting and small *fish wise*. The Arc's come with glass sheet to put over the top right? Will I need to adjust it so I can run a external filter?
