I've got some growth on the sand and glass, not sure why. ?not enough water changes or too much CO2 The nitrate test is negative so I'm thinking of adding my shrimps otos and flying fox which are holidaying in another tank BUT I am away for 2 weeks from next week so think probably best to wait...

Nuno and Angus, thank you so much for your posts. I've spent hours browsing plants trying to fathom out which ones to use and was no further forward. You've been so helpful. Am ordering plants next week. Will post images of new tank

I am planning to rescape along these lines as I really like this design. I will be running CO2 and have 2 39W T5 bulbs lighting I would love some help with ideas for plants as its really difficult to see what these might be. Thanks in advance

Hi Matt and Clive Thanks for your responses I think i will avoid the 2080 as I dont fancy wheeling/lifting it out each time and the cupboard is really too small. Any thoughts on the next best thing? I have a 190 litre tank which i want to set up as a planted tanks 2x39 w bulbs and Co2. Thanks Sara

Hi I am thinking of buying a 2080 as well but am confused if the picture is a 2180 or 2080 The reason I ask is that it looks like you need a fair bit of room above the filter to allow for the 3 tubes to go up and bend over. The height measurement given for the 2080 is 567mm. My cupboard is max...

Thanks Ed what size tank do you have for that filter? I have found a Eheim Professional 3 electornic filter 2078 that has an output of 1850 a bit like the 2080 in that way but has a smaller filter volume. Do you think it will do? Its 214 on christmas offer so seems reasonable price too
