CRS is more sensitive than cherry they are pond shrimp vs fresh stream shrimp.

The only way to counteract this is to have plenty of shrimp who will pick up on dead snail later on. As Darrel said, nerites are worst for any CRS tank. Ramshorn, assasins are not happy in CRS water. Although assasins will last quite long. Trumpets are probably one of best they even breed in CRS...

They are exactly same size as normal ottos I have 2 females 2 males. They are calmer yes you can catch then with hand easy. They are stuck at one place and next morning lot of poop below otos does not do this I mean really where does it comes from it has lot of waste... :)

I have 4 of these over year now and they are hardier than normal otos and blahblahblahblah way more than normal otos. I think they like wood as well. But they are very nice indeed.

LED should have half consumption of what is for T5 or MH so yes 30W should be enough if designed properly and if light spread is not too big. But can be made more efficient if beam angle is right. Shimmering of MH is smooth as it is just from one source vs multiple sources. I personally can't...
