Does CO2 increase kh gh ?

im having some probs with newly planted Hemianthus callitrichoides cuba there is some browning around some areas lighting 80 watts 180 ltrs co2 inject 2/3 bubbles a sec any ideas to get this stuff growing

its 180 ltrs with 80 watts light dosing 2ml of tropica plant nutrition plus every day thought it would be a bad idea to over do it early on

what is the best photo period im using 80w for 148 litres set to times of 9x13hrs 1hr seista and then 14hrs x 19hrs ?

To be honest ,the reason for using the U.V. is for water clarity and the belief that they are a good addition for water quality etc.I have had no underlining issues that have led me to use one.I intend to add Discusto the tank so im opting for the best water quality i can get.Are they worth using?
