    funnily enough it is by window but wooden blind shut all time,have got some browny/red algae along glass below substrate but it always has been there and never ventured further so have left alone so as not to cause more issues.will do thorough clean and 50% wc again tonight and see how it goes

    got a drop checker either end both look good,got big flow along front off tank from custom made clear spray bars on 2028 plus the 2 powerheads and then the 2215 opposite end returning the flow along back

    thanks for the advise alistair,feel a bit of an idiot now as have just discovered the main gas bottle valve was not quite open enough,doh!this was after going and spending a tenner on leak detection spray on way home from work.Was wondering how you do your co2 alistair?,i am getting good results...

    I have got a jbl regulator on a large co2 bottle(think its a 25 lb one 36in high 4 in wide) on my 6 foot tank,the first bottle lasted me about six months and that was with me knowing i had lost some gas through the initial set up and a few small mistakes.I have had it refilled about 2 months...

    I have seen some of these ripariums online and am quiet interested in going that route with my new tank,the only problem i could have are i need at least 16" of water(75g) for my 1 oscar and 2 firemouths,leaving me only 6" for the emmersed plants(low lying plants possible?).my other concern...
