thanks alexander. I have eco complete substrate so that shouldnt be to much of a problem.
thanks for the encouragement. I think I will buy some new plants and rocks and see how that goes!
will post some photos when its done...
Hi all
was posting on here a while ago and was more active in the hobby.
due to family illnesses and the like I have been away from my house for a good while and neglected my tank.
my dear wife has done her best with water changes etc but things are bad...
while some of the plants are still...
too true, I was suckered in by a cheap price and getting some limophilia aromatica which is a stunning plant but seems difficult to come by.
hey ho I wont go off reservation again :)
not been on here for a while but new babies and work have got in the way of my hobbies
so with a spring in my step I fancied getting my tank back into some kind of shape as it had been neglected bar water changes since the birth of the little one.
so pre xmas I ordered some limophilia...
amazing
there is no way in a million billion years I could ever get something like this past the wife
we need more pictures of it in situ!!
i would much rather have this in my wall than a TV
cheers gary. I do think the shape of the trigon makes a jungle type scape easier. a more minimal scape like yours is much harder to achieve successfully. That is my next goal with this tank, but I am enjoying the scape at the moment and am a bit too busy for a complete strip down.
how much is more than enough light?
and how big is your tank?
Like foxfish says "more than enough" is too much
free your mind from the wpg mantra trotted out by manufacturers of expensive lighting systems.
you need to concentrate on providing enough carbon and nutrients to grow a carpet...
