like this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-CO2-DUAL-GUA ... 439b99fda2

there are others but the common theme is that the regulator are advertised for home beer brewing.

thank you :)

This will fit on an F.E - but my concerns would be the on / off tap at the bottom on the reg, i dont think the co2 piping would attached, you would be better off with something like this:

or
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JBL-ProFlora-M001 ... 20ae2813db
or

I decided to get this setup for my 120cm(l) x 46cm(w) x 70cm(h) tank. It can theoritically hold around 385liters.

Please comment on my choices. thank you

regulator: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT

bubble counter: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT

diffuser: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT

tubing: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Rhinox-Co2-Tubin ... 3c96689888

the counter and diffuser were chosen mainly for aesthetics. :D

Is there anything else that I need?

thank you very much :)

With that size of tank - you might be better off with a Aqua Medic 1000 reactor - you should get better mix / displacement of the Co2 gas within the tank or place the glass diffuser underneath the water intake pipe to maximise the displacement of the gas within the tank, the tiny bubbles from the diffuser will be mixed even more whilst its passing through the filter.

I was also wondering if PTFE Thread seal tape would be safe to use when connecting parts on a FE setup or would the CO2 react with it ?

i have read about that on a thread here, im pretty sure it said it can do more bad than good, and that it isnt needed.

I agree with AdAndrews entirely.
If your system has 'O' ring seals, and most of them do, PTFE tape is definitely not required.

Just for your info, PTFE is just about bullet proof when it comes to chemicals. I have used it on pipework installations carrying Nitric acid, Acetic acid, Sulphuric acid, Hydrochloric acid and Chlorine gas, so I don't think a bit of measly CO2 (Carbon and Oxygen) would bother it somehow :D .
