removing water marks?

vinegar? maybe not full strength, 1 cup of water to 1 cup of vinegar
 
i had it very bad on my nano tank round the edges. i tryed putting bicarbonate of soda on it then splashing vinegar on and rubbit it with a cloth but to no effect :thumbdown: i presume lemon juice would just do the same o_O
 
I used neat lemon juice to great effect, the trick is to leave it on to give it chance to soak in. I've used hydrochloric acid too which worked better but I was scared about potential effects on the silcone sealant so stopped.

hmm but then what about the smell afterwards? room must be smelling great :D
