Rimless tank on a longer stand

I've been looking at getting a 30" (75 cm) tank and have been having issues finding a stand I like in that dimension. Would there be problems with putting it on a longer stand, say 36" (90 cm) stand?

Might just need slightly more tubing if you're running a canister, I can't think of much else apart from that.
