Hi all. After having salty tanks for the last 16 years,i took a break from fishkeeping for 18 minths but the itch was there to start again, but with a freshy planted tank.
So after making a deal with my wife for a small space on the sideboard (she keeps tropical housplants) i went ahead and found a small nano tank.
Tank is only 36 litres ,38 with the HOB filter.
Started off with fluval stratum substrate and a small “island” of sand and some redwood roots.
Planted it with amazon sword, anubias, crypts, rotala walichi, pogostem erectus, ludwigia super red and a carpet of monte carlo.
Ive added a twinstar 450S mk3 which is awsome and soooo bright.
Also just added C02 via a fire extiguisher and regulator.
Tank is currently 7 weeks old and is looking good to me so far.
Thanks for looking.
