Nerite eggs won't hatch in freshwater or at least they won't develop into adults because similar to Amano shrimps they need salt/brackish water to develop into adults. So there are no need in adding assassins. While there are cases where assassins don't choose Nerite as food, there are also cases where they will hunt them down. So adding some may not be appreciated. On a side note Nerite eggs are tough to remove on driftwood and rocks... or so I have heard, I got lucky enough to only ever owned males.
