Hi All..
I have a tank with the following specs :
Tank : 45x30x30cm
Light : 2 x 18 watts LED (Up Aqua ProZ)
Co2 : Ista maxmix reactor, 1bps
Ferts : KH2PO4, KNO3, Micros (now stopped) and MgSO4, CaSO4 (gypsum powder)
Plants : Rotala Rotundifolia, Rotala green, Blyxa Jap, Limno sp vietnam
From week 1 had massive necrotic and twisted tips like plants were burnt with a torch light.. I read up and since the tank has a few stones, I started adding Mg at 5ppm weekly and also CaSO4 at 2ppm. This solved the burnt tips in rotalas but now i have 80% stalks healed and pearling intensively. Remaining 20% still grow with extremely small leaves and increasingly reducing internodes, extremely tiny leaves which are not burnt or necrotic in appearance like before.
Is this a N deficiency? Should i start micro dosing?
Please help.
