Great scape, really nice rock placement. Welcome to ukaps, I look forward to seeing many more great 'scapes from you in the future. And your English is fine ;)

Well I can't speak Hungarian never mind write it so I think you are doing extremely well! Nice scape..

Welcome zoltan, that's a very nice scape.:)

Thanks,

If i have a little time i write down the preparations, and i upload some photo too

So, I started thinking at 17 march. I want to make a minimal iwagumi aquarium, with a lots of grass.

I had many stones, but not enough, so a bought more. Than i started to rotate the stones.

there was a lot of trials,

and than came it, that i need a terrace

that scape was began to resemble my idea.

Meanwhile the furniture is finished. I had no choice the color, because the other furniture has a color.

but at least I made it myself with my friend.

After that i started the building.

some bacterial cultures

and finished:

Than I looked a day and than I changed it a little bit more

Then I replaced the two top extreme stones, and the final one:

thanks to read it, 'll be in touch

Oups.

Its means: adopted this view

The blue sky is one of a lightroom tool. I don't remember which one is.

Hi.

What do you think? Is there any opportunities with this scape in a contest? My goal is that do not be the last one. :)

Because i entered the first photo to the aga contest.

So?

I have no experience of competitions but I think it should do fine. The judges may criticise the algae on the rocks, however I personally feel the algae looks very natural. I think the reason it works is that it is the same colour as the plants and so blends in.
Good luck in aga!

Thanks

I cant pick up the rocks to clean it, so i dont do
And the other i like it that the rocks are green

I think you can use an electric tooth brush (are they fully submersible?) to scrub the rocks. But I agree, the algae adds a sense of age and harmony

Very nice scape. Hard to believe this is your first planted tank.

Battery powered electric toothbrushes are fully submersible (at least some of them are), I've seen a guy use one like this in a u tube video.

Thanks to the video, i will try it

When i was a kid, i were some aquariums, but that there were more fish.
Than i looked some really beauty scapes, and i decided that i need one.

At home i try it, but it was a practicing aquarium. I tryed many plants, tryed the co2 (diy from eb@y).

At the end (27 febr) it looks like this:

its seems to a little chaos in it, but the plants were healty.

That time i decide to build at my work place another.

Thats Monto Rompo, my first real planted tank, which were designed.

Since then was rebuilt my home aquarium. Its 12 days old, and its looks like this when it were done:

thanks

Looks good. Just dont like the vallis at the righthand side of the scape. It breaks the flow of the scape for me

Love it, but I agree with Ryno about the Vallis, I understand you did it to hide the filter inlet (I assume), but maybe a nice solitary plant would do better just in the corner around the inlet. Perhaps some Cyperus Helferi for a similar look to the Vallis (don't like Vallis, period, but that's personal), or an Echinodorus.
