How can I shut my Solenoid up?

Ola all

My Solenoid makes a HORRID noise when its on, how can I stop this or is it broken?

Try using another electrical outlet?
I avoid plugging my solenoid into my UPS unit because it causes
a rapid shuttling between on/off positions.

Mine is on a timer and no matter what I do it wont shut up. Sometimes when i fiddle with the tightening knob it quietens down, but otherwise not.

its definitely the solenoid because when I got my regulator solenoid it was making a buzzing noise but once that got replace it was fine also you can turn it side ways until there no noise and just make sure you screw the nut in the bottom tight
