Hi all,
It is brown dots and very hard to scrape it .......... Yeah doing with razor but still very hard
Because of the colour it could conceivably be a Red Algae (something like <"Hildenbrandia">), but it is likely to be <"Green spot Algae"> (Choleochaete), these are calcified and difficult to remove. I just get a little bit of this (where sunlight strikes the corner of the tank in the spring), but it never persists with me.

cheers Darrel

Any ideas how to prevent calcifiction?
