Hi all,

Going into trying mixing my first batch of dry ferts all in one.

I have the fantastic IFC tool and had everything planned (with help from Aquarium Shed on YouTube), thanks to all that generated this tool!

I was planning on simply copying the recipe from Aquarium Shed for EI dosing but a few of the products are OOS.

I don't suppose anyone may know of other places to purchase?

Or, with all the vast experience out there anyone could recommend a different first time recipe for me to get started and learn as I go?

Currently have 2 tanks, one is a 100L Iwagumi, one is a 30L is a heavily planted nature style. Both moderately stocked with livestock. Both running CO2 with inline diffuser (approx. 38PPM, I do use drop checkers but also PH/KH calc, switches on hour before lights and goes off hour before lights) and twinstars (8 hours a day, not dimmable so 100%), biomaster thermos. In the process of setting up a third tank which will be 60L.

Plant growth so far has been good, Algae wise currently nothing much to worry about. Had a few issues as you do with getting them balanced but they seem pretty settled now.

Generally stuck to Tropica Specialised (long time ago was TNC) but want to (mainly due to curiosity and learning customisability) get stuck into DIY Ferts.

Thanks in advance

I'd like advice on where to source Potassium Nitrate. I found Potassium Phosphate on eBay

It should be available in chemical stores in your country, I buy it from there.

I use a dosage method very close to TSN. As a DIY, I find it successful at the moment. I have never been successful in the EI method. I prepare it based on nitrogen. My combination is as follows: kno3 mgno3 urea combination, I need very little phosphate and potassium, the ratio of iron and micro or calcium and magnesium is 10/4. I'm holding

thanks for the detail, at the risk of asking a silly question, what is TSN?
