I've been spent the past month and half on a rescape project following upgrading from an internal filter to a external filter.
Also, I didn't like the plant on the right hand corner of the old setup, so decided to pull out all the plant and starts scratch.
0) My old setup, Last picture.
1) Pulling out all the plants, only left the dwarf sag on the left hand side, where my 50 shrimps took refuge. Added JBL aquasoil in beige color, I think I made a mistake in chosing the beige color, thought it was much darker than its sand appearance. should get the black soil, but never mind, since the planned setup will be heavily planted dutch style, hopeuflly it will fully cover the substrate.
Again, I want emphesis the good qulity of the JBL Aquasoil, much better feel than ADA's.
2) New plant shipment, aren't they lovely?
3) All planted, just waiting it to grow.
4) Two weeks later, second plant shippment, now running out space to plant any more.
L. Brevipes is coming up nicely
Limno. Belem is starting to show purple
L. Incilinate Cuba just straigten up, not coloring up yet
Tonando is growing a bit slow, I hoped it will turn red a bit more.
B Colorata just recovered and is rooting, its turning green, which is not what I hoped, but let's wait
Now my new toy, Twinstar in action. It seems helped a little bit alage wise, I am putting it well hidden, so no hidious iphone white color to be seen.
5) Another week later, Everything is coloring up gradually.
