Re: Superman's Nano - 14ltr Looks great! Do you really need that much substrate though? I can understand the sloping effect gives it depth (from a frontal veiw) but how deep is that at the front? That said, I love it. Nice rocks and good positioning to my innocent eye!

George, I agree. It's a shame that my local stockist of tropica plants ruin them very quickly by lack of flow and insufficient CO2 (they use Tetraplant CO2 optimat cannisters) Also the display tank gets direct sunlight for a few hours during the day. They do dose tpn(+?) but how often I don't...

Why 150W? A 50W would be adequate for a tank of that size, however I would probably go with 100W. 150W will create steep temperature changes. I've got a 100W in a similar size tank and see fluctuations of almost 2 degrees (OK, over 1 degree). I try to keep it at 25c and it will drop to...

Are you using tap water? If not, would using another tank water or r.o. or distilled,not help with reduction of bubbles?
