Hi, in this case I used some old Dennerle nano cubes, they have curved edges in the front, but i put them reverse side for better photograph. The seal is horrible and they are floatglass. If I would buy a tank today - it would be hight quality one and optiwhite ;)

Planting is postponed till end of July, As I'll have to go to cologne for 5 weeks and I don't want to leave 3 tanks on their own in the initial stage. Meantime I will show the technical aspects in detail ;-)

They are all not the same, of course you can use different - but keep in mind they might be noisy and difficult to clean. I´ll take mine into parts later and show some pictures so you can better understand what I´m talking about.

There are plenty HOB filters and I've tested many of them, but this one is the only one that is quiet and you can really take into parts for cleaning.

I couldn't find them in UK as google shows me only local stuff, but I'm sure EU shipping is not a problem http://www.interaquaristik.de/aquaristi ... 304-1.html Another reason I use them, they are the most quiet I have ever had and you can take them into parts for cleaning :thumbup:

Hi Ben, these are 20 Liter tanks with curved Edges in the back. New website will be soon online ;) Here a detail shot of the HOB Filter, I kind of love the clean look and the transparent housing gives a look inside so you can see the water movement and when its time to for maintenance :lol:

this filter inflow is unsecure to baby shrimps. I have placed a piece of foam over mine to avoid them sucked into the filter. think about this ;) but, looking good though :D

only for those of you who is interested in how this tank will gow on: I´m waiting till the beginning of my traineeship, will then buy an ADA mini M with ADA lamp. till than this tank is on ice and placed into my book shelf :D

This tank has gone threw few major changes and now I´m glad to present what this now looks like :D First of all I want to you to remember how it looked like right after planting first growth and melting after a couple of weeks After I decided that UG grows too high and trimmed it down...

Have to agree with LD, dont be afraid of trimming the glosso, after that it will come back with smaller leafs and compact growth. nice tank ;)

Still have algae in my nano :( I think this is because of direct sunlight in the early morning) Will rescape and replace it soon.

Hi guys, As some of you might allready know I had some bad luck with my Dennerle Cube, do not mistake with the "Friendship" Dennerle Cube, this one is not mine, I only helped setting up this tank. My next attempt on nano will be a 40x20x20cm sized tank. Today I received 10kg Minilandscape rock...

brown algae is the only "plant" that is growing crazy :lol: After I trimmed UG down it almost melted. Left corner stem plant I took out because it was totaly covered with algae. Helferi is slowly recovering and I now got Cherry Schrimp babys in there :D

this is what´s left .. :(( Hairgrass is doing fine, lots of runners. Now there is a something like brown algae on the UG near the bottom .. Co2 has been increased to 1b/2sec and started dosing tropica plant nutrition 1ml after each wc

hope those are left will stay fine, in this case I would refill the gaps with HC or maybe with riccia stones .. :?

Well, the point I wonder about is that not every piece is melting and not all that melted, started at the same time :roll:
