    Hi Jack Plant size doesn't matter... it's keeping moisture up that is the priority....with the occasional airing of the bins! I wouldn't use inert substrate....something like old Tropica soil/powder might be okay!

    Hi Edward The longer roots I push into the substrate...trying to leave the rhizome on the surface! The smaller Buce pieces I try to wedge them into spaces between the crushed lava rock.

    The Buce Bin is Fluval Stratum. The Mixed Bin is a mixture of Stratum, Dennerle Deponit Black, and some old Tropica soil! Some Crushed Lava rock down the sides on the surface and around some of the Bucephalandra.

    Hi Wooki I use High K as a foliar feed....don't exceed the recommended grams per litre! I use 0.5 grams per 2 Litre! Ive never had much success with the more difficult Invitro Crypts....especially Nurii.....I would make up a mix of gravel and crushed lava rock for the Parva media! ;)

    Just to add! Attaching the Bucces was far more easier with this product a Gel not a liquid! Added a couple of drops and used a Ice lolly stick to press the rhizome's onto the Lava Rock for 10 seconds....no mess or sticky fingers:lol::happy: hoggie
